This solid shaft is designed to completely replace your viscous coupler. If your V.C. is in need of replacement, it is a good time to upgrade to a drive shaft decoupler and this V.C. eliminator shaft. The installation of these two parts will give you the flexibility of 2WD highway performance and “on-the-fly” 4WD engagement.
