Explorer Pro Comp Outer Tie Rod End Kit # 90-40231B is designed to replace a worn out component. This Tie Rod End is only for use on 2007 through 2021 Toyota Tundra already equipped with the Pro Comp 6″ Stage 1 or Stage 2 Suspension lift system. The Pro Comp 6″ suspension lift utilizes a unique tie rod end with a special “bend” profile to safely clear the steering and suspension components. This means means factory style tie rod ends will NOT work with the Pro Comp 6″ lift systems! If your Tundra has worn out tie rod ends it means your alignment cannot be adjusted and set properly. Worn out parts means bad steering control and can cause uneven tire wear.
