Left-Side Fuel Vapor Tank for Volkswagen Vanagon

Description

This is the LEFT (driver) SIDE fuel vapor tank that sits up in your front wheel well area. It is part of the main fuel tank evaporation system, and allows evaporated fuel to condense back into a liquid and drain back into the tank to keep your little engine buzzing down the road just a little bit longer. The original tanks were quite robust and relatively failure-proof, but thirty-plus years of service life will leave some tanks brittle and prone to cracking, especially at the lower nipples where the fuel line attaches. If you are resealing your fuel tank (2WD or Syncro), it is a good time to install all new vapor tanks and float valves. Do it once, do it right!
