Early Vanagon Coolant Hose: Bleeder Valve to 1.5-Inch Feed Pipe

Description

This hose connects the bleeder valve housing to the 1.5″ diameter coolant feed pipe.
Fits: 1983-85 Vanagon with 1900cc waterboxer cooling system when upgraded with 1.5″ outside diameter cooling pipes. Will NOT fit the earlier 1.25″ diameter cooling pipes.
A note on silicone hoses: GoWesty does not offer a silicone version of this hose. If a standard rubber hose is not available, we will at times bring in a silicone substitute. However, there is no evidence that indicates the more expensive silicone material/manufacturing method is superior in any way. This hose is an exact reproduction of the original VW formed hose, which was known to last many decades and are a fraction is the price as compared to a silicone version of the same thing.
