2WD Vanagon Fuel Line Adapter and Fitting Kit

Description

This adapter fitting kit is used to join the soft rubber fuel line to the hard plastic fuel line. Two are used on the high-pressure fuel supply side (also eliminating the failure-prone plastic firewall fitting), and two more can be used on the low-pressure return side. Volkswagen originally stuck the hardline into the soft line and hose clamped them together on the return side since it is low-pressure, however we prefer the more secure connection of these adapter fittings. We recommend ordering and installing two kits (four adapters) for a durable connection and greater peace of mind.

Fits: All 1980-91 2WD Vanagon. Not required for Syncro 4WD
