High-Pressure Oil Switch for Late-Model Volkswagen Vanagon – Gray

Description

This oil pressure switch was used only on 86-91 year models which were fitted with the “dynamic oil pressure warning system.” Its pressure ranges are .75-1.05 BAR. It fits on rear of engine near oil pump, and is gray in color. This switch is NORMALLY OPEN, and CLOSES between .75 and 1.05 BAR, which translates to 11-15 psi.

NOTE: We have exhaustively tested all of the aftermarket switches on the market that we could get our hands on. We found the pressure ranges on the other aftermarket brands to be highly variable, and now exclusively carry Febi switches.
