5-Piece Flywheel and Flexplate Bolt Kit for Volkswagen Bus & Vanagon

Description

When replacing your flywheel (manual transmission) or flexplate (automatic transmission), it is highly recommended that the five bolts securing it to the crankshaft be replaced. This kit includes five of our custom-made, hardened class 10.9 metric internal hex bolts with a pre-coated thread locker.
Fits: All 1968-79 Bus and 1980-91 Vanagon 2WD/4WD with manual and automatic trans

Note: This internal-hex bolt kit is a direct replacement for all flywheels and flexplates originally fitted with internal-hex bolts (N-902-268-01). It also replaces the external bolt and lock plate system originally used on 1976 and later aircooled engines. If you have this other system, please discard the metal locking plate and torque the bolts to 81 ft-lbs (110Nm).
